Stripe Nails!

Today i'm going to do a DIY on stripe nails. It's super simple, but a little time consuming.

"Materials"

2 nail polish colors (I used pink and silver)
tape
top coat (optional)

"Steps"

Paint each of your nails using one of your colors.
After it dries, cut many small, skinny pieces of tape.
Put the pieces of tape on your nails. They can face any direction; up and down, side to side, diagonal, etc.
Take your second color and paint over all of you nails, including the tape on them.
Wait to dry.
Take off the tape!
Use a top coat if desired.

Now you have striped nails!

Flower Headband DIY

Hi! Today i'm gonna show you a tutorial on a flower headband. I made this one day out of pure boredom and..yeah! So here's what you'll need.

"Materials"

Hot glue gun (and a hot glue stick for it, of course!)
A stretchy head band or elastic and ribbon
fake or real flowers (if you use fake ones the headband will last a long time, real ones will die off)
scissors

"Steps"

**If you are using elastic and ribbon for your headband, start at step 1. If you have a "pre-made" headband skip to step 5**

Take the elastic and cut 10 cm.
Also cut 10 cm of the ribbon.
Also cut 2 3 cm pieces of the elastic
Take the ends of the long elastic and the ends of the ribbon and hot glue them together. To secure them wrap the 3 cm ones around the area you glued them (picture below) Voila! You should now have a headband!
Take your flowers and if they have stems or anything you want to remove, cut them off.
Place the ribbon side (or non-elastic side if you bought it) of your headband on a flat surface.
Put some hot glue on the ribbon part and before it dries place some flowers on it.
Continue doing this until you cover the entire ribbon part with flowers.
Let it dry.

Now you have your own flower headband!!

You can see how they are glued together.

Shopping!

So, I have been going SHOPPING lately.

(I thought this emoji was appropriate.)

I thought I'd share what I've gotten lately!! :D

The first two are ones I got a few days ago at Dollar General.

This is off the Wet n' Wild makeup website. I got it in this color (Think Pink). I guess it works OK but it does come out really uneven. If you rub it in with your finger it comes out as a nice color though. :)

The second thing I got there was L.A. Colors Metallic liquid eyeliner.

This is off the L.A. Colors website. This was my first time using liquid liner and I love it! It's harder to use and takes longer but you get better at it. I personally like this liner but my friend ( Click For Her Blog!! ) didn't like it too much and bought a different brand.

The next two items I got yesterday before seeing the movie The Purge (which was quite disturbing BTW) from Target.
